حجت الاسلام 'محمد باقر لیاقتی' روز چهارشنبه در مصاحبه با خبرنگار ایرنا با اشاره به این كه نظام جمهوری اسلامی هزینه‌های زیادی را برای تامین غذای حلال متحمل می شود، مسئولیت این روحانیون را نظارت بر ذبح، شستشو ی حیوان و از بین بردن اجزای حرام عنوان كرد.

وی با اشاره به لزوم تهیه غذای بهداشتی و حلال و پرهیز از غذاهای حرام، به آثار مثبت غذای حلال بر وجود انسان اشاره و تصریح كرد: غذای حلال بر شیوه رفتاری انسان، پذیرش حرف حق و رشد و توسعه ارزش های انسانی تاثیرگذار است.

وی با بیان این مطلب كه صیادی از جمله مشاغل سختی است كه كمتر از آن یاد می‌شود افزود: تهیه‌ ماهی حلال، حراست از دستورات اسلام و اعتقادات مسلمانان است و صیادان باید نسبت به تهیه‌ ماهی حلال بسیار حساس و آگاه باشند.
